The Big 12 Comes to the Newborn Studio

The newborn photography business is finally getting back into the swing of things in the wake of the pandemic.  I’m happy to see parents going ahead and booking photo shoots in spite of the ever present variants that keep popping up.  Although the immune system of brand new mothers is typically weakened after giving birth, the vaccines have taken most of the risks away that were present earlier in the pandemic.

Mommies and Daddies must of course still wear their masks while they’re in the studio, but the star of the show – our little newborn – is allowed to go without. 

So it’s back to business here at Beverly Hall Photography and that means accommodating parents when they request I work in their alma mater to the photography shoot.  Ohio State is the school of honors today and that’s an ‘O’ Ella is sporting on her little undies in case you’re not a regular on the college football circuit.  An interesting fact that most people, including newborns, children, and siblings don’t know is that Ohio State has sixty thousand undergraduates!  That’s right, not only is Ohio State a powerhouse in the Big 12, the university is also the size of a small city.

Working Big 12 newborn props into the shoot today is the first time I’ve had a school represented outside of the SEC.  However, this isn’t surprising because so many families are moving down from the North these days to the South… having babies and raising families.  Which is great for me because I love being a part of as many little newborn’s lives as I can, no matter where they’re from!
