Beverly Hall's studio is located in Atlanta, Ga. She offers professional photography services for the entire family, specializing in newborn, children, and maternity portraits.

After a successful career of photographing children for over twenty years, the arrival of my first grandchild inspired me to take up a new challenge, newborn photography. Those tiny little fingers, that baby fresh smell…how could I resist? I strive to create beautiful, unique images that will stir as much emotion twenty years from now as they do today. When I’m not taking pictures of tiny little humans, I can usually be found photographing wildlife, traveling, or spending time with my family (and two pugs). Beverly Hall Photography is located in Sandy Springs, but serves all of Atlanta including Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, John’s Creek, Buckhead, and Marietta.
I know how busy and exhausted new mommies are so I try and make the newborn photography experience as simple as possible. I have small, basic packages with only digital images or you can choose from packages that include wall art and other heirloom products. Go big, or go small, I've got you covered.

You’re trying to eat healthy for your baby, stay fit, your hormones are out of control… being a pregnant mommy is a full-time job. But don’t forget one of the most important milestones… booking your newborn photo shoot! It’s easy to get sidetracked with the baby’s nursery, the upcoming birth, all the ‘How To’ books, but schedules of newborn photographers fill up fast, so make sure you’ve checked this off well before your big day.

The best time to take newborn photos is between 5 -14 days. The earlier the better. After the first ten days, the babies become more restless, are harder to pose, and cry more. You can still get pictures done after the first two weeks, but your chances of getting exceptional shots diminish.
The key is to book your newborn session well in advance. I get calls all the time from panicked mothers who have suddenly decided they want newborn pictures. Sometimes I try and fit them into my schedule, but once you hit the three-week mark, the sessions can become a chore for the photographer and the babies.
